Goals from Tymon Machope, who netted a brace, Khama Billiat, Ronald Pfumbidzai, and Tadiwa Chakuchichi ensured the flamboyant Mabvuku-based side lifted the coveted trophy with two games to spare.
With this victory, Scottland FC coach Tonderai Ndiraya made history by becoming the first coach in Zimbabwe to win consecutive Premier Soccer League titles with two different teams, having guided Simba Bhora FC to the 2024 championship.

Ndiraya was ecstatic with the triumph and the historic milestone, praising his players and technical staff for their collective effort throughout the season. He also expressed gratitude to the club’s president, Scott Sakupwanya, for his unwavering support and investment.
“Credit goes to the team for working hard this season and ensuring that we are champions today. Special thanks go to the president of the club for believing in this project and investing in it.
I’m especially happy to craft this piece of history, I honestly had no idea that I’m the first coach to lift the league consecutively with two different teams,” said Ndiraya.
Kwekwe United coach Gift Muzadzi lamented his side’s failure to take advantage of their early opportunities but commended his players for their fighting spirit against an experienced Scottland outfit.
“It was a game of two halves. We gave it our all in the first half but failed to capitalise, and we were punished. I don’t want to take anything away from the boys , they gave it their all but came up against a very experienced side,” said Muzadzi.
Kwekwe United will now prepare for life in the Division One League after a dismal campaign that saw them register just a single victory all season, losing 24 matches and drawing seven.
Meanwhile, Harare giants Dynamos finally climbed out of the relegation zone after edging Bikita Minerals 1–0, thanks to an Emmanuel Jalai strike in match played at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.
Dynamos moved to 13th on the log, two points clear off the last relegation spot.
